Five days until your trial.

Survive the prison by managing your reputation: too much fame, and envy will turn the inmates against you; too little, and your freedom will slip away.  

Navigate a fragile social order, make careful choices, and strike the perfect balance... or be lost behind bars forever.

Controls

  • W / A / S / D or Arrow Keys – Move around  
  • Spacebar – Interact / Attack  
  • Enter / Return – Accept daily results

How to Play

Your goal is to survive for five days in prison and earn enough reputation to be granted freedom.  

Each day, you’ll need to complete various tasks while avoiding trouble. Your actions will affect your reputation — for better or worse.

But be careful: the more your reputation rises, the more the other inmates will resent you. They’ll start to chase and attack you.  

Maintaining a balance is key to survival.

Tasks

Deliver the Mail

Receive a package and deliver it to a purple-dressed NPC hiding somewhere in the prison.

Unclog the Toilet  

Head to the bathroom and press Spacebar to fill the progress bar and fix the mess.

Help in the Workshop

Sew following the correct sequence of keys shown on screen.

Assist in the Kitchen

Work with the kitchen crew to prepare pizzas by pressing the right keys for each ingredient.

Clean the Yard  

Find and collect all garbage bags scattered across the outdoor area.

Reputation-Affecting Actions

Good Actions

  • Being in your room before the end of the day  
  • Petting the cat

Bad Actions

  • Fighting with inmates  
  • Getting punished by the guards  
  • Not being in your room at day’s end

Tips

  • Inmates will stop chasing you if you’re in your room or doing a task.  
  • If you're hit while carrying the package, you'll lose it and have to restart the delivery.  
  • The UI bar shows your reputation, but NPCs won’t always react directly to that value — their behavior also depends on hidden thresholds.

Additional Info

This is the first game I've fully developed, built for the Gamedev.js Jam 2025. The jam's theme was Balance, and this game was created around the idea of balancing a reputation system in order to survive.

It’s a mix of stealth, simulation, and decision-making, reflecting the harsh reality of navigating social dynamics in an enclosed, high-stakes environment.
